Tax Trainee

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Tax Trainee. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in gaining experience in the field of tax preparation and financial planning. As a Tax Trainee, you will work closely with our experienced tax professionals to learn the ins and outs of tax preparation and develop valuable skills in financial accounting and analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of individual and business tax returns
- Review financial documents and records to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify potential tax savings or deductions
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero to input and organize financial information
- Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional client service
- Stay up-to-date on current tax laws and regulations

Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in financial accounting principles
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
